    Marsh Industries championing grassroots rugby

    09.05.2023

Marsh Industries is proud to extend its support to local community organisations by providing fresh playing kits and training attire for the Bugbrooke Badgers U13’s, a thriving youth rugby team located in the village of Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire.

In anticipation of the upcoming season and an eagerly awaited tournament hosted at the renowned Northampton Saints’ training ground, the Badgers recently convened for an eagerly anticipated kit unveiling ceremony. Following a brief warm-up and meticulous preparations for their forthcoming fixtures, the team was pleasantly surprised as they returned to their changing rooms to find their pristine new playing shirts thoughtfully suspended on the pegs.

The subsequent day saw the Badgers adorned in their new attire as they ventured to the Northampton Saints’ training ground for an exhilarating tournament, where they engaged in spirited competition against other local clubs. The sight of the Saints’ First XV players training on an adjoining pitch added to the overall excitement of the occasion.

Michael Harrison, Business Development Manager at Marsh Industries and an influential coach to the U13’s, reflected on the occasion, stating “It was truly heartwarming to witness the expressions of surprise and elation on the faces of our young players when they were greeted by their new kit. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, with the tournament at the Saints’ ground affording them an ideal opportunity to showcase their refreshed appearance to neighbouring clubs. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Marsh Industries for their support. The new kit is poised to instil newfound confidence in our players as they embark on an exciting journey in junior rugby.”
